Jellyfish: Beach-Themed Recolors [Part Uno]

Sigh… another sleepless night. Honestly, this is getting old. Well, it’s morning here (5.46 AM) and I’ve finished taking the last of the screenies for this one. I am so glad this set is finally done! I honestly thought it’d never be finished – I kept adding and removing recolors, and then getting frustrated with badly mapped ones. Grr. But it’s done, and I’m sure Eva would be happy – she was the one who suggested many of the meshes I recolored. ^^ Thanks Eva!! *glomps*

I tried to go with a happy+slightly minimalistic+beachy style here, I’m not sure how much it shows through, but I am happy with how it came out – and I lovelovelove the teapots and the pillows! ♥

Not all recolors are shown in the previews… so you can click on the recolor names in the list below to see the additional ones ^^ (there are bucketloads, I promise you) and not all meshes are included (because of the repository technique) so please read the following list carefully:

Remember when I asked you guys to tell me more canvases to recolor for artist sims? Well I got an email from Nixy, and she sent me these amazing meshes, allowing me to recolor them! (Thank you Nixy!) I’ve had these on my harddisk for quite some time now (about a month, I think?) and I thought it’s time I stopped being selfish and shared these beauties. 14 recolors, meshes included – and trust me, the meshes are absolutely gorgeous without recolors too! There might be a continuation of this set, I think. I have a lot of ideas in mind, but sadly not enough time to work on them.

  Those paintings are gorgeous! I’m always excited to see more canvases like this.
  
  One thing, though… you’re actually looking at the back of a canvas with that mesh. The edges show the wood frame and the canvas stretched around to the back (meant to seem like the canvas is leaning with the face to the wall). So, essentially, this looks like someone has restretched these paintings in reverse, and perhaps plans to paint on the other side.

    For the longest time I thought I couldn’t get these to work, but the paintings do in fact actually show up on the *back* of the canvas. lol I just figured it out last night…but I couldn’t use them b/c of the way they lean, so I set it up much like you did with one painting showing and the other 2 canvases blank b/c they were actually on the other side. hehe Glad I figured it out.

  i have a problem!!! i love these so so so much, but for some reason they all show up in the game as blank canvases, in the description it said they are slave meshes, and that i need the mster mesh, is that the problem? if so where do i find the master meshes? thanks so much for making these , and please give me a hand if u have the time

I’m sorry I haven’t updated lately, I’ve been lazy and moody. Butbutbut that’s okay if I come here with good news, right? There’s an update in progress annnnd I did these recolors for the amazing Silvia and got completely carried away! These kept me up two nights (and an afternoon) in a row and came out quite unexpected (I’ve never done ’shabby chic’ before) but not unpleasing, actually. And of course there’s plaid for those who don’t like shabby. =^.^=

Silvia has kindly allowed these recolors to be shared over at Black Pearl Sims. So, if anyone’s interested, you can nab them… HERE.

Yay, update! This yet-another-recolor-set-with-a-sucky-name includes several recolors of lirunchiks fogetron bedroom at Black Pearl Sims. I quite like it, myself – the meshes are a dream to recolor and lirunchik provides .psd’s for recolors which makes it extra-dream-like to recolor! (The chairs were my favorite! ^_^). This set includes:

3 recolors of the armchair
3 recolors of the bed
2 recolors of the blanket
2 recolors of the pillows
2 recolors of the window
1 recolor of the endtable
1 recolor of the wardrobe

Meshes are not included.

  Thanks Nichii! Uhm.. I used the boolprop snapobjectstogrid false & the boolprop allow45degreeangleofrotation true cheats to place the dresser there. Hope that helps! Just hit control + shift + c and type in the cheat and press enter!
